Affordable Room Open June 1st in Spacious 3 Bedroom Duplex (Seeking grad student) Duplex (Sublet / Shared Housing)

Hello!

We are two professional women, 39 and 41, and one 7 year old hound mix (sorry, no other pets!), living in a sweet 3 bedroom duplex in the Old North End. We have a room (dimensions are 10.5’ x 10.5’) available June 1st. Rent is $1100/month... which includes all utilities (gas, electric, internet, compost). Washer/Dryer in basement. Attic dry storage. Great location- close to downtown & waterfront. On street residential parking and amazing neighbors! There is a little back porch which we love in the summer and a garden bed out front but otherwise no yard.

We enjoy comedy, cooking, gardening, hiking, yoga/fitness, kitchen debates, reading, and socializing. We're both pretty social people with large circles, like to host small gatherings on occasion. Looking to share the house with someone who is considerate, a good communicator, and tidy in communal spaces.

This housing arrangement works best for someone who does not have a lot of big home furnishings beyond bedroom needs (there's plenty of storage in attic, but other than the available bedroom, it's fully furnished); if you work from home, know that one of us primarily does as well so would need to navigate that. We both work M-F (one of us will also be starting the MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling part-time at UVM and the other is a practicing School Counselor), and weeknights are typically low-key - cooking dinner, maybe watching something, and going to bed on the early end.
