FLEXIBLE LEASE: Room (w/ private bathroom) for respectful FEMALE in upscale home

Furnished room in upscale home. Ideal for someone (female) who does not plan to be in Vermont all year (e.g., a student or traveling nurse) and does not want to pay a 12-month lease or deal with a subletter and furnishings. The lease term is very... flexible and renewable but only available for up to nine months (excludes June, July, and August ), but someone who wishes to return for the next academic year can store their belonging over the summer for a very nominal fee. Same option if gone for a month over winter break.

Looking for female professional or advanced-degree student (mid-20s to mid-40s) to share high-end house with professional female. Must be considerate, a good communicator, and willing to do a small amount of cleaning to help out. Vegan or vegetarian preferable. Flexible move-in and move-out dates.

Room is large, bright, lots of windows, and is furnished with a small dresser, ladder bookshelf, two small nightstands, and queen-size bed (not exact furnishings as in the pictures). Furnishings can be removed if preferred. Must provide own bed and linens, including shower curtain. Private staircase; brand-new wool carpet; closet; and private, en suite bathroom with spotless, tiled, walk-in shower.

Large, renovated house in Shelburne with chef's kitchen (gas stove), wood stove, and big yard on quiet lot with access to wooded trails and bike path from the house. Off-street parking and use of in-house washer and dryer included. Only a 10-15-minute drive into downtown Burlington or to UVM/hospital (six miles from Gutterson parking lot).

MUST BE non-smoker (this means no vaping or pot), clean, respectful, and responsible. No drugs, kids, or pets, please. Must provide references.

$1400/month, plus gas, electric, and internet.
