We're a semi-retired couple in a single-family home, looking for a mature, responsible housemate. We have previously hosted UVM staff, grad & med students, medical travelers.

$1,000 per month includes a generous amount of nicely furnished space - housemate has their own bedroom, bathroom, sitting room, and kitchenette. Includes: Burlington Telecom's fastest wi-fi, designated parking space in the driveway. The suite has its own heat/AC.

--Everyone enters through the front door that leads into the main living area.
--we usually are fostering a cat, so you will meet them in this space, though they will not go into your area.

--The housemate's private space is down a flight of stairs to the finished basement. This 650 sq foot space includes a bedroom, bathroom and family room/kitchenette.
The space is well lit by a large sunny egress window.

--Housemate space is fully furnished - bed, couch, table chairs, bed & bath linens.
The kitchenette has a full-size fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster oven, as well as pots, pans, dishes. Both the bedroom and the main room have big closets.

--Includes wi-fi and all utilities including heat/AC unit that you control.
--The washing machine and dryer is shared with the homeowner.
--The space comes with a designated parking spot in the wide driveway.
--We can make space for your bicycle in the garage.
--There's a big back yard with garden space that backs onto a woodland.

The home is shared with a semi-retired professional couple.
We're community volunteers and active hikers, bikers, kayakers.
Paul speaks French and Italian.
You are welcome to host friends for daytime/evening visits.
