Furnished BR, renovated apt, walkable to campus, heat & parking included

2nd-floor apartment on a quiet lane less than a mile from UVM. Owner lives downstairs and works from home.

This is a 3BR apartment with one room open. The common areas were beautifully rebuilt in 2024: new kitchen with all new appliances, new... bathroom and separate shower room, and washer-dryer. The bedroom is a nice size with wooden floors, a queen bed, desk, drawers, and clothes rack.

This room is available to faculty, students, or UVM/MC employees. The other two housemates are recent college grads: one works as a nurse assistant at UVMMC, the other works for a local news station.

Lease is at least through May, open to longer.

Highlights:
* all-new kitchen with dishwasher and storage pantry
* new bathroom and separate shower room
* washer-dryer in the apartment
* mini-split heat pumps in each room for individual cooling and heating!
* a nice porch and off-street parking spaces

Each room has a heat pump for individual heating and air conditioning. The house also has steam heat (radiators) that run in the winter.

Half a block from Colchester Avenue, close to two bus lines, 6/10 of a mile from the UVMMC campus and a short walk to downtown Winooski.

APPLICATION PROCESS:
1. An interview and viewing in person or by video. If you're not in town and have someone to view the place for you that's fine.
2. An application that shows your ability to pay the rent (pay stubs, scholarship or hiring letter, etc.) and gives references for three past or current housemates.

HOUSE RULES: No smoking or vaping of anything on the property. Must learn and follow recycling and composting procedures. Must agree on and follow rules for the apartment re cleaning, kitchen use, guests, etc.
