Stand Alone House Apartment - One Bedroom available

Seeking 1 roommate to move in to our 3 bed/ 2 bath house. The room with be available as early as April 5, but the exact date is pending further info from our departing roommate. Rent is $834/mo plus electric, heat, water, wifi, and compost, which... together are about $185 per person maximum at the most expensive times of year.

The space:
The available bedroom is on the 2nd floor, where a large bathroom is shared with my housemate, whose bedroom is also upstairs. A second bathroom is located downstairs. The house is very spacious with nice, natural light, a closed-in porch, a seasonal sunroom, and an unfinished basement with plenty of storage space. We have off-street parking and laundry inside the unit. We also enjoy a small amount of green space with a little garden bed. Our landlord is very kind and responsive, and we have nice and respectful neighbors. Conveniently located within a 10-minute walk of the bike path and a shopping plaza with restaurants and a grocery store.

About us:
We are considerate about maintaining a quiet and peaceful household that is conscientious about each other’s schedules. We are respectful, tidy, and friendly roommates who both take initiative to take care of routine chores in common areas without the need of a chore wheel, and we’d appreciate living someone who is naturally proactive about chipping in with communal areas as well. We enjoy crafting, boxing and MMA, hiking and outdoor adventures, as well as sharing meals and movies with each other and/or friends. Both of us work full-time, professional jobs, and I work from home 3 days a week. We do not smoke, drink, or do drugs and would like to live with someone who has a similar lifestyle. As a courtesy to each other, we minimize overnight guests, particularly significant others. I have a very cute & social cat named George, who is FIV+/immunocompromised, so no other pets in the house.

What we’re looking for in a roommate:
- Also in their late 20s/early-mid 30s
- Tidy, takes initiative to clean shared spaces
- Minimal significant other presence/overnight guests
- Honest, Kind, and respectful of others’/shared things
- Conscientious about the hours others keep/considerate about noise levels
- Interested in collaborative liviing environment
- Communicative- we are very communicative about guests, when shared spaces will be in use, etc.
- Does not smoke/drink/do drugs
- Employed full time

Having a peaceful, respectful, and friendly living environment is very important to us- home is sanctuary! If this sounds like a good fit for you we would love to talk more :)
